The Association for Automotive Professionals!

Legal Information Network
Law Firm Brochure

This service is designed to provide you with current, useful legal information on various aspects of the service station industry. However, it is not intended as a substitute for legal advice.

The material is drawn from the Lawletter, a legal newsletter that AuTO-CA has published monthly since 1979. AuTO-CA members receive the Lawletter every month. That publication covers a wider variety of subjects, such as environmental issues, automotive service issues and employee relations.

A look at the document titled Table of Contents will give you the full title of all articles which fall under the particular heading you have selected.

Some articles report on recent court rulings on issues related to the particular subject involved. Others analyze the problems involved in the area. Nearly every article contains specific recommendations or guidelines for action.

Please note that in some cases, two or more courts have ruled differently on the same legal issue. In such instances, you will find a report on each case. It is suggested you read each report carefully. There may be some nuances unique to each ruling.  Note also that the law changes from time to time. The latest article will give you the most up-to-date developments. Make sure you read the most recent article on the subject.

In the future, we plan to add additional subjects to the AuTO-CA Legal Information Network, such as government regulation, and employee relations.

All we ask for is to give us your name & email address so that we can inform you of updated information.  After entering the info, you will be sent to the table of contents.
